College: Jin played four years of indoor volleyball at Colorado School of Mines. She was the AVCA South Central Freshman of the Year after leading the team in kills (369) her first season. As a senior she broke the school record for highest hitting percentage in a single match (15-19 attempts) at .867, which was also the best in the nation that season. Jin finished her career with 1,278 kills, the eighth most in program history.
Personal: Jin was a team captain of her high school team twice, and was named First Team All-Conference. She has an older sister, Janice, who played on her team at Colorado School of Mines for two seasons.
