College: Satterwhite plays beach volleyball at USC, where she went 11-16 as a freshman, playing mostly with Kerry Keefe on courts three and four.

Personal: Satterwhite's father, David, played basketball at DePaul and his mother, Brenda Smith, competed in the Olympic swimming trials. She was captain of both her indoor team and beach volleyball team in her high school for two years. Satterwhite set the school career record for kills (1134) and aces and added 911 digs.
