College: Johnson played both indoor and beach volleyball at Colorado Mesa. She ended her beach career with a 67-39 match record, including 30-2 as a senior. The 67 wins was just 1 shy of the school's all time record while the 30 wins in her final season tied for the most in program history.
Personal: Johnson was a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year in Alaska. She has two siblings, Clay and Eva.
