2026: Anderson formed a partnership with Alaina Chacon, who was a teammate and former partner at FSU. The duo qualified for the AVP League in the third and final qualifier, sweeping all four opponents including seeds one, three and five.2025: Anderson and Brook Bauer played three times together on the AVP Tour, with a best of second place in a Contenders event. The duo played nine World Tour events together, with a best of ninth twice in Challenge events. Anderson ended the year with a 13th-place finish after advancing from the qualifier in an Elite event. 2024: Anderson began the AVP season with in a qualifier with Carly Kan. She then played three AVP tournaments with Marine Kinna, with a best of fifth in a Contenders event. Internationally Anderson played nine times, including twice with Kan and seven with Brook Bauer. Anderson and Kan won a gold medal in a Futures event in their last outing together. Anderson and Bauer advanced to the semifinals in each of their first three international events together, placing fourth after advancing from the qualifier before winning a pair of gold medals. In their last four World Tour Events they had a best of fifth in a Challenge event. 2023: Anderson and Shaw continued their partnership, playing in three AVP tournaments. In the season opener in Huntington Beach they advanced from the qualifier to place fifth and followed that up with a third place in Hermosa Beach and a 17th in Manhattan Beach. On the World Beach Pro Tour the pair played in two qualifiers, finishing in 25th both times.2022: Anderson played three international events as well as one NORCECA tournament, all with Molly Shaw. In their debut in a Futures event they advanced from the qualifier to claim gold. In consecutive Challenge events the duo placed 19th and then won a silver medal. Anderson and Shaw won a gold medal in a NORCECA event. 2021: Anderson and Nicole Nourse finished ninth in the FIVB U-21 World Championships in Thailand.2020: Did not compete. 2019: Anderson played in one qualifier in Austin alongside Caitlin Moon, an FSU teammate and partner for one match in 2022.2018: Anderson made her pro beach debut at the age of 16 with Keara Rutz, a teammate of hers at Florida State, in a qualifier in Manhattan Beach, placing 57th.
College: Anderson played beach volleyball at Florida State. In her shortened freshman season, she went 12-1 mostly with Kate Privett on court three. As a redshirt freshman she ended 32-6, mostly on court three with Sara Putt, with nine wins over top-10 opponents. In her redshirt sophomore season FSU played for the National Championship and Anderson had a 31-12 record with 14 victories over top-10 foes, playing alongside Brook Bauer on court one. She was named the collegebeachvb.com Breakthrough Player of the Year in 2022 and was an AVCA First Team All-American. The following year Anderson partnered with Paige Kalkhoff for most of the year as she had a 25-12 record exclusively on court one. She had a 23-8 record as a graduate season primarily on court one while playing with four partners including Skyler Germann and Alex Durish and was selected as an AVCA Second Team member. Anderson ended her career with a 123-39 record and FSU ended each year she competed ranked in the top six in the country. Her 123 wins set the program record for match wins and was the second most in dual wins.
Personal: Anderson's mother, Dr. Marianne May, played indoor volleyball and softball at Northwestern. She has four siblings, Emmy, Erik, Jared and Cassie, who played beach volleyball at Florida State. Anderson earned AAA California rating at the age of 15, and was the number one ranked 18U player in CBVA rankings in 2019. She was a 2019 AVCA First Team High School All American. Anderson was home schooled for six years and graduated high school two years early, spending one year traveling the world, then began college at the age of 17.
