Personal: McSpadden's mother Beth played basketball and volleyball at Webster University, then went on to play professional basketball for the S. Louis River Queens. She has one brother, Garrett, and three sisters, Callie, McKenna and Nikki. In high school McSpadden was a three-year starter on her volleyball team and in her sophomore season the team finished 24-1 en route to a state runner-up finish.
