Personal: Young has one younger sibling, Kinsley, and they come from an athletic family. Her mother Karen played basketball at TCU and her father Corey played football at UTEP.  Her grandfather Art played football at SMU, and she has three uncles who played football at UTEP; Chris, Robert and Carey, who went on to play in the NFL for the Chargers and Jaguars. She has another uncle, Arthur, who played football at Austin College and an aunt, Taylor, who was a professional golfer on the LPGA.
