College: Drooker played at King University in Bristol, Tenn. as a
setter. He was the Conference Freshman of the Year and the school's
Male Rookie of the Year after setting the program record for single
season assists (953). He also ranked second on the team in aces (28). As
a sophomore he broke his own record with 1,018 assists, which led his
conference, and also established the school record for assists in a
match (59). His .47 aces per set average was sixth best in the NCAA
while his 54 aces was a school record. He had 232 digs, which was the
third most in a single season in King history. Drooker continued to set
new records as a junior, with 1,035 assists, 61 aces and a total of 64
assists in a single match. He was 12th in the country in assists per set
(9.95) and fifth in aces per set at .59. As a senior he was named First Team All-Conference and was the school's Male Athlete of the Year. Drooker ended his career with the four highest single season assist totals and two best ace totals in school history, and was atop the all time charts in assists (3,892), aces (179), digs (747), matches (114) and sets (413).
